The story of Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training series began in 2006, when "Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain?" was released for Nintendo DS in Europe - a title that many gamers will remember fondly! The concept was inspired by the research and publications of Japanese scientist Ryuta Kawashima. This game became one of the most successful games for Nintendo DS and since then, more instalments of the series have been released, adding new exercises.
